The All Compassionate (Al-Rahman)
78 verses, revealed in Medina after Thunder (Al-Ra'ad) before The Human (Al-Insan)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Allah, the Most Gracious 1 Has taught the Qur’an to His beloved Prophet (Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him). 2 Created man, 3 Has taught him the knowledge of the past and the future. 4 [At His behest] the sun and the moon run their appointed courses; 5 And the plants and the trees prostrate (for Him). 6 and He has raised up the heaven and has set a balance 7 That you may not be inordinate in respect of the measure. 8 But observe the measure strictly, nor fall short thereof. 9 And He has set up the earth for all beings. 10 Wherein are fruit and sheathed palm-trees, 11 grain with its husk and aromatic herbs. 12 How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? 13 He created the human from clay, like earthenware 14 And the jinn did He create of smokeless fire. 15 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 16 The Lord of the Two Easts, the Lord of the Two Wests. 17 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 18 He hath let loose the two seas. 19 and yet there is a barrier between them which they may not overstep. 20 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 21 Pearls and coral-stone come forth from them. 22 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 23 And to Him belong the ships [with sails] elevated in the sea like mountains. 24 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 25

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
