The All Compassionate (Al-Rahman)
78 verses, revealed in Medina after Thunder (Al-Ra'ad) before The Human (Al-Insan)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ THE MOST GRACIOUS 1 has taught the Quran to (Muhammad). 2 He has created man: 3 He has imparted unto him articulate thought and speech. 4 The sun and the moon to a reckoning, 5 The stars and the trees prostrate. 6 He raised the heavens and set up everything in balance, 7 So that none may err against the scales, 8 Give just weight and do not skimp the scales. 9 It is He Who has spread out the earth for (His) creatures: 10 In which are fruits, and covered dates. 11 and a variety of corn with both husk and grain. 12 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 13 He created man (Adam) from sounding clay like the clay of pottery. 14 And He created the jinn of a flame of fire. 15 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 16 (He is) Lord of the two Easts and Lord of the two Wests: 17 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you then deny? 18 He hath loosed the two seas. They meet. 19 Between them is a barrier which none of them can transgress. 20 Which of the wonders of your Lord will you twain you men and jinn then deny? 21 Out of these two [bodies of water] come forth pearls, both great and small. 22 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 23 And to Him belong the ships [with sails] elevated in the sea like mountains. 24 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 25

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
