The All Compassionate (Al-Rahman)
78 verses, revealed in Medina after Thunder (Al-Ra'ad) before The Human (Al-Insan)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ The Beneficent 1 has taught the Quran to (Muhammad). 2 He created man, 3 and He has taught him the Explanation. 4 The sun and the moon follow courses (exactly) computed; 5 The stars and the trees prostrate. 6 and heaven -- He raised it up, and set the Balance. 7 (Transgress not in the Balance, 8 and weigh with justice, and skimp not in the Balance.) 9 And the earth hath He appointed for (His) creatures, 10 Therein is fruit and palms having sheathed clusters, 11 and grain in the blade, and fragrant herbs. 12 Which of the bounties of your Lord will you twain you men and jinn then deny? 13 He created the human from clay, like earthenware 14 And created jinn from the flame of fire. 15 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 16 (He is) Lord of the two Easts and Lord of the two Wests: 17 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 18 He let forth the two seas that meet together, 19 Between them is a barrier which they cannot pass. 20 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 21 There cometh forth from both of them the pearl and coral-stone. 22 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 23 And His are the ships going and coming in the seas, like mountains. 24 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you then deny? 25

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
