The All Compassionate (Al-Rahman)
78 verses, revealed in Medina after Thunder (Al-Ra'ad) before The Human (Al-Insan)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ (Allah) Most Gracious! 1 has imparted this Qur'an [unto man]. 2 Has created Prophet Mohammed (peace and blessings be upon him) as the soul of mankind. 3 and has taught him articulate speech. 4 The sun and the moon are made punctual. 5 And the stars and trees prostrate. 6 And the heaven! He hath elevated it, and He hath set the balance. 7 Do not transgress the scales. 8 But observe the measure strictly, nor fall short thereof. 9 And He has set up the earth for all beings. 10 Therein is fruit and palms having sheathed clusters, 11 And also corn, with (its) leaves and stalk for fodder, and sweet-scented plants. 12 Which of the bounties of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 13 He created man from sounding clay like unto pottery, 14 and He created the jinns from a flame of fire. 15 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie 16 He is the Lord of the East and West through all seasons. 17 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 18 He hath loosed the two seas. They meet. 19 and yet there is a barrier between them which they may not overstep. 20 How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? -- 21 From these seas come forth pearls and coral. 22 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 23 Also, His are the ships that run, raised up like mountains upon the sea. 24 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 25

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
