The All Compassionate (Al-Rahman)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ THE MOST GRACIOUS 1 who taught the Quran -- 2 He created man. 3 Has taught him the knowledge of the past and the future. 4 The sun and the moon to a reckoning. 5 And the herbs and the trees do obeisance. 6 And the heaven, He raised it high, and He made the balance 7 That you may not be inordinate in respect of the measure. 8 and weigh with justice, and skimp not in the Balance.) 9 He set down the earth for the creation. 10 There are fruits of all kinds on it, and date-palms with their clusters sheathed, 11 and grain in the blade, and fragrant herbs. 12 Which of the bounties of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 13 He created man from clay like that of earthenware. 14 and He created the jinn of a smokeless fire. 15 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 16 [He is] Lord of the two sunrises and Lord of the two sunsets. 17 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 18 He has set flowing two seas that appear to meet. 19 [yet] between them is a barrier which they may not transgress. 20 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 21 Out of them both come out pearl and coral. 22 Which of the wonders of your Lord's power will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 23 To Him only belong the sailing ships, raised above the sea like hills. 24 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 25
