The All Compassionate (Al-Rahman)
78 verses, revealed in Medina after Thunder (Al-Ra'ad) before The Human (Al-Insan)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ The Merciful 1 has taught the Quran to (Muhammad). 2 has created man, 3 Has taught him the knowledge of the past and the future. 4 The sun and the moon move according to a fixed reckoning; 5 And the plants and the trees prostrate (for Him). 6 And the skies has He raised high, and has devised [for all things] a measure, 7 In order that ye may not transgress (due) balance. 8 But observe the measure strictly, nor fall short thereof. 9 And the earth, He has set it for living creatures; 10 Therein is fruit and palms having sheathed clusters, 11 And grain having husks and scented plants. 12 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 13 He created man from sounding clay like unto pottery, 14 and jinn from the many colored flames of fire. 15 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie 16 He is the Lord of the two easts and the Lord of the two wests. 17 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you then deny? 18 He has let forth the two seas, they meet together, 19 and between them is a barrier which they do not overpass. 20 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 21 From the two oceans comes pearls and coral. 22 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 23 And His are the ships going and coming in the seas, like mountains. 24 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 25

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
