The All Compassionate (Al-Rahman)
78 verses, revealed in Medina after Thunder (Al-Ra'ad) before The Human (Al-Insan)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ The Beneficent Allah, 1 has taught the Qur'an, 2 He created the human 3 He has taught him speech (and intelligence). 4 The sun and the moon [move] by precise calculation, 5 And the herbs and the trees - both (alike) prostrate in adoration. 6 And Allah has raised the sky; and He has set the balance. 7 That ye should not trespass in respect of the balance. 8 and weigh with justice, and skimp not in the Balance.) 9 And the earth He laid [out] for the creatures. 10 Therein is fruit and palm trees having sheaths [of dates] 11 Also corn, with (its) leaves and stalk for fodder, and sweet-smelling plants. 12 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord, will ye twain belie? 13 He created man of clay like the potter's, 14 and He created the jinn from smokeless fire. 15 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 16 He is the Lord of the East and West through all seasons. 17 How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? 18 He has let loosed the two seas (the salt water and the sweet) meeting together. 19 Between them is a barrier [so] neither of them transgresses. 20 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 21 From them come forth the pearl and the coral. 22 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 23 And His are the ships going and coming in the seas, like mountains. 24 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 25

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
