Whatsoever is on it (the earth) will perish. 26 yet still abides the Face of thy Lord, majestic, splendid. 27 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 28 On Him depends all creatures in the heavens and on earth; [and] every day He manifests Himself in yet another [wondrous] way. 29 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 30 We shall dispose of you, O ye two dependents (man and jinn). 31 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 32 O company of jinn and men, if you have the power to go beyond the bounds of the heavens and the earth, go beyond them! Yet you will be unable to go beyond them for that requires infinite power. 33 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 34 Flames of fire and molten copper shall be loosed against you, and you shall not be helped. 35 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 36 And when the heaven will be rent in sunder and will become rosy like unto red hide. 37 Which of your Lord's powers will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 38 So on that Day no question will be asked of man or jinn as to his sin, (because they have already been known from their faces either white or black). 39 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 40 The Mujrimun (polytheists, criminals, sinners, etc.) will be known by their marks (black faces), and they will be seized by their forelocks and their feet. 41 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 42 This is hell which the guilty deny. 43 they shall go round between it and between hot, boiling water. 44 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 45
