Al-Rahman 2 of 3
All that lives on earth or in the heavens is bound to pass away: 26 while your Lord's own Self will remain full of majesty and glory. 27 So which of the wonders of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 28 Everyone in the heavens and on the earth entreats Him. Every day He manifests Himself in a new state. 29 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 30 We shall attend to you, O you two classes (jinns and men)! 31 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 32 O assembly of jinn and man! if ye be able to pass out of the regions of the heavens and the earth, then pass out; ye can not pass out except with authority. 33 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 34 Against you shall be loosed a flame of fire, and molten brass; and you shall not be helped. 35 Which of your Lord's powers will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 36 And when the heaven splitteth asunder and becometh rosy like red hide - 37 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you then deny? 38 On that Day no question will be asked of man or Jinn as to his sin. 39 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 40 The guilty ones will be recognized by their faces and will be seized by their forelocks and feet. 41 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 42 This is hell which the guilty deny. 43 Round about shall they go between it and hot, boiling water. 44 Which of the favours of your Lord will you then deny? 45
