▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 2 of 3
Everyone that is thereon will pass away. 26 And there will remain the countenance of thine Lord, Owner of Majesty and Beneficence. 27 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 28 All those who are in the heavens and the earth ask of Him; every moment He is in a state (of glory). 29 Which of your Lord's laudable attributes will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 30 Jinn and mankind, We shall certainly settle your accounts. 31 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 32 O company of jinn and men! If you have the power to go beyond the realms of the heavens and the earth, pass beyond them: you cannot pass out but with [Our] authority. 33 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 34 Let loose at you will be smokeless flames of fire so that you will not be able to defend yourselves. 35 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 36 And when the sky is rent asunder and becomes red like [burning] oil 37 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 38 On that day there will be no need to ask mankind or jinn about his sin 39 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 40 The sinners shall be known by their mark, and they shall be seized by their forelocks and their feet. 41 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 42 (It will be said): “This is the Hell that the culprits had cried lies to. 43 between it and [their own] burning-hot despair will they wander to and fro! 44 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 45
