▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 2 of 3
Everyone on earth is destined to die. 26 but forever will abide thy Sustainer's Self, full of majesty and glory. 27 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 28 On Him depends all creatures in the heavens and on earth; [and] every day He manifests Himself in yet another [wondrous] way. 29 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 30 Jinn and mankind, We shall certainly settle your accounts. 31 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 32 O society of jinns and men, cross the bounds of the heavens and the earth if you have the ability, then pass beyond them; but you cannot unless you acquire the law. 33 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 34 (If you so venture) a flame of fire and smoke shall be lashed at you, which you shall be unable to withstand. 35 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 36 And when the heaven is split open and becomes rose-colored like oil - 37 Which of the favours of your Lord will you then deny? 38 On that day no sinner will be questioned about his sins, from men or from jinns. 39 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 40 The sinners shall be known by their mark, and they shall be seized by their forelocks and their feet. 41 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 42 Yonder is the Hell which the culprits belied. 43 They go circling round between it and fierce, boiling water. 44 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 45

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
