▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 2 of 3
Everyone that is thereon will pass away. 26 And there will endure for ever the person of your Lord, the Lord of glory and honor. 27 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 28 On Him depends all creatures in the heavens and on earth; [and] every day He manifests Himself in yet another [wondrous] way. 29 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 30 We will attend to you, O prominent beings. 31 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 32 O company of jinn and men! If you have the power to go beyond the realms of the heavens and the earth, pass beyond them: you cannot pass out but with [Our] authority. 33 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 34 Against you shall be loosed a flame of fire, and molten brass; and you shall not be helped. 35 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 36 When the sky is rent asunder, and it becomes red like ointment: 37 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 38 On that day no sinner will be questioned about his sins, from men or from jinns. 39 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 40 The sinners shall be known by their mark, they shall be seized by their forelocks and their feet. 41 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 42 (It will be said): “This is the Hell that the culprits had cried lies to. 43 They will go round and around between it and boiling water. 44 Which of your Lord's powers will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 45
