Al-Rahman 2 of 3
All that lives on earth or in the heavens is bound to pass away: 26 Only the Supreme Essence of your Glorious and Gracious Lord will remain forever. 27 How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? 28 Of Him beggeth whosoever is in the heavens and the earth; every day He is in a new affair. 29 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 30 Anon We shall direct Ourselves to you, O ye two classes. 31 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 32 O company of jinn and men! If you have the power to go beyond the realms of the heavens and the earth, pass beyond them: you cannot pass out but with [Our] authority. 33 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 34 The flames of fire and smoke will be sent on you two, then you will not be able to defend yourselves. 35 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 36 And when the sky is rent asunder and becomes red like [burning] oil 37 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 38 On that Day no question will be asked of man or Jinn as to his sin. 39 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 40 The sinners will be recognised by their marks, and seized by the forelock and their feet. 41 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 42 This is Hell, which the criminals deny. 43 Going round between it and boiling water fierce. 44 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 45
