All that live on it will perish. 26 And there will endure for ever the person of your Lord, the Lord of glory and honor. 27 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 28 All in the heavens and the earth entreat Him for their needs; a new, mighty task engages Him each day. 29 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 30 O you twain, who are a burden (on the earth), We shall attend to you and call you to account. 31 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 32 O company of jinn and men, if you have the power to go beyond the bounds of the heavens and the earth, go beyond them! Yet you will be unable to go beyond them for that requires infinite power. 33 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 34 Flames of fire and molten brass will be released against you and you will not be able to protect yourselves. 35 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 36 (On the Day of Judgment) when the heavens are rent asunder they will have a flowery color and flow like oil. 37 Which of your Lord's powers will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 38 On that day neither man nor jinni will be questioned of his sin. 39 How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? 40 The criminals will be known by their marks, and they will be seized by the forelocks and the feet. 41 Which of the powers of your Lord, will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 42 This is Hell, which the criminals deny. 43 They will go around between it and scalding water, heated [to the utmost degree]. 44 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 45
