All that is on the earth is passing, 26 only the Person of your Lord, full of majesty and splendour, will endure. 27 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 28 Everyone in the heavens and on the earth entreats Him. Every day He manifests Himself in a new state. 29 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 30 Anon We shall direct Ourselves to you, O ye two classes. 31 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 32 O company of jinn and mankind, if you are able to pass beyond the regions of the heavens and the earth, then pass. You will not pass except by authority [from Allah]. 33 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 34 (If you so venture) a flame of fire and smoke shall be lashed at you, which you shall be unable to withstand. 35 How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? 36 And when the heaven will be rent in sunder and will become rosy like unto red hide. 37 Which of your Lord's powers will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 38 Of his sin will be questioned that Day neither man nor jinn. 39 (We shall see) which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 40 All who were lost in sin shall by their marks be known, and shall by their forelocks and their feet be seized! 41 Which of the powers of your Lord, will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 42 This is Hell, which the criminals deny. 43 In its midst and in the midst of boiling hot water will they wander round! 44 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 45
