(And remember) when Allah said: O Jesus! Lo! I am gathering thee and causing thee to ascend unto Me, and am cleansing thee of those who disbelieve and am setting those who follow thee above those who disbelieve until the Day of Resurrection. Then unto Me ye will (all) return, and I shall judge between you as to that wherein ye used to differ. 55 As for those who disbelieved, I shall punish them with a terrible chastisement in this world and in the Next; and they shall find none to help them. 56 And as for those who believe and do good works, He will pay them their wages in full. Allah loveth not wrong-doers. 57 What We recite to you consists of signs and wise admonition. 58 Surely, in the sight of Allah, the similitude of the creation of Jesus is as the creation of Adam whom He created out of dust, and then said: 'Be', and he was. 59 The truth is from your Lord, so do not be among the doubters. 60 But whoever disputes with you in this matter after what has come to you of knowledge, then say: Come let us call our sons and your sons and our women and your women and our near people and your near people, then let us be earnest in prayer, and pray for the curse of Allah on the liars. 61 This undoubtedly is the true narrative; there is none worthy of worship except Allah; and Allah is the Almighty, the Wise. 62 But if they turn back, then surely Allah knows the mischief-makers. 63
