(And remember) when Allah said: O Jesus! Lo! I am gathering thee and causing thee to ascend unto Me, and am cleansing thee of those who disbelieve and am setting those who follow thee above those who disbelieve until the Day of Resurrection. Then unto Me ye will (all) return, and I shall judge between you as to that wherein ye used to differ. 55 "And as for those who are bent on denying the truth, I shall cause them to suffer a suffering severe in this world and in the life to come, and they shall have none to succour them; 56 As for those who have believed and do good works, they shall be given their reward in full. God does not love evil-doers. 57 THIS MESSAGE do We convey unto thee, and this tiding full of wisdom: 58 The similitude of Jesus before Allah is as that of Adam; He created him from dust, then said to him: "Be". And he was. 59 This is the truth from thy Lord, wherefore be thou not of those who dubitate. 60 And whoso disputes with thee concerning him, after the knowledge that has come to thee, say: 'Come now, let us call our sons and your sons, our wives and your wives, our selves and your selves, then let us humbly pray and so lay God's curse upon the ones who lie.' 61 This is the true account. There is no deity save Him. God is Mighty and Wise." 62 If they turn away (remember) God knows the mischief-mongers. 63
