When God said, 'Jesus, I will take thee to Me and will raise thee to Me and I will purify thee of those who believe not. I will set thy followers above the unbelievers till the Resurrection Day. Then unto Me shall you return, and I will decide between you, as to what you were at variance on. 55 Those who deny the truth shall be sternly punished in this world and in the world to come: there shall be none to help them." 56 As for those who believe and do good works, He will pay them their wages in full. Allah does not love the harmdoers. 57 These are some verses that We recite to you, and advice full of wisdom. 58 To God the case of Jesus is as that of Adam whom He created from the earth and then said, "Exist," and Adam came into existence. 59 The truth is from your Lord, so do not be among the doubters. 60 If any one disputes in this matter with thee, now after (full) knowledge Hath come to thee, say: "Come! let us gather together,- our sons and your sons, our women and your women, ourselves and yourselves: Then let us earnestly pray, and invoke the curse of Allah on those who lie!" 61 This is the true story (of Jesus). There is no Lord but God. It is God who is Majestic and All-wise. 62 If they turn away, Allah knows the evildoers. 63
