▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
But for him who feareth the standing before his Lord there are two gardens. 46 Which of your Lord's favours will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 47 Containing all kinds (of trees and delights);- 48 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 49 Therein are two running fountains. 50 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 51 In both of them there will be every kind of fruits in pairs. -- 52 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 53 Reclining upon the couches lined with silk brocade, and the fruits of the two Gardens will be near at hand. 54 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 55 In the midst of these shall be maidens with modest, restrained glances; maidens whom no man or jinn has ever touched before. 56 Which of the favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? -- 57 (In beauty) like the jacynth and the coral-stone. 58 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 59 Shall the recompense of goodness be other than goodness? 60 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 61 Besides this, there will be two other gardens. 62 jinn and mankind - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny 63 Of darkest verdant green -- 64 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 65 In both of them live springs gush forth. 66 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 67 With fruits in them, and dates and pomegranates -- 68 How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? -- 69 In the midst of these will be maidens, good and comely. 70 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 71 There shall be maidens sheltered in tents. 72 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 73 Whom no man or Jinn before them has touched;- 74 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 75 Reclining on green cushions and beautiful decorated carpets. 76 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 77 Blessed be the Name of your Lord, Majestic, Splendid. 78
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
