▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
For any who fears to stand before his Lord are two Gardens. 46 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 47 Having [spreading] branches. 48 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 49 In them (both) will be two springs flowing (free) 50 Which of your Lord's favours will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 51 In them (both) will be every kind of fruit in pairs. 52 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 53 Reclining on beds, the inner coverings of which are of silk brocade; and the fruits of the two gardens shall be within reach. 54 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 55 Upon thrones are the women who do not gaze at men except their husbands, and before them, are untouched by any man or jinn. 56 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 57 (In beauty) they are like rubies and coral. 58 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 59 Is the reward for good [anything] but good? 60 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 61 And besides these two, there are two other Gardens,- 62 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? - 63 The greenest of green pastures. 64 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 65 therein two fountains of gushing water -- 66 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 67 In them will be Fruits, and dates and pomegranates: 68 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 69 In the midst of these will be maidens, good and comely. 70 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 71 They are houris (maidens of Paradise), hidden from view, in pavilions. 72 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? - 73 Untouched before them by man or jinni - 74 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? - 75 Reclining on green cushions and rich beautiful mattresses. 76 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 77 Blessed be the Name of your Lord, Majestic, Splendid. 78
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
