▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
For any who fears to stand before his Lord are two Gardens. 46 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 47 With spreading branches. 48 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 49 In both of them, there are two springs flowing. 50 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 51 In both these is a pair of every fruit. 52 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 53 They will recline upon carpets lined with rich brocade; and the fruits of both these gardens will be within easy reach. 54 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 55 There will be bashful maidens untouched by mankind or jinn before. 56 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 57 As though rubies and pearls. 58 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 59 Is the reward for good [anything] but good? 60 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 61 And beside them are two other gardens, 62 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 63 two [gardens] of the deepest green. 64 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 65 In [each of] these two [gardens] will two springs gush forth. 66 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 67 In both of them there will be fruit trees and date-palms and pomegranates. 68 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 69 In them are women of good behaviour and gorgeous faces. 70 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 71 Houris cloistered in pavilions -- 72 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 73 untouched before them by any man or jinn -- 74 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 75 Reclining on green cushions and fine carpets. 76 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 77 Blessed be the name of thy Lord, Mighty and glorious! 78
