▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
And for he who fears the standing (before) his Lord there are two Gardens. 46 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 47 [two gardens] of many wondrous hues. 48 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 49 With two springs of water flowing through them both. -- 50 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 51 Wherein is every kind of fruit in pairs. 52 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 53 Reclining on carpets whereof the linings will be of brocade; and the fruit of the two Gardens shall be near at hand. 54 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 55 Therein are maidens who restrain their glances, whom neither human nor jinn have touched before. 56 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 57 [There will be] maidens as fair as corals and rubies. 58 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 59 Shall the recompense of goodness be other than goodness? 60 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 61 And besides these two, there are two other Gardens (i.e. in Paradise). 62 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 63 green, green pastures -- 64 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 65 In them will be two gushing springs. 66 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 67 In both of them there will be fruit trees and date-palms and pomegranates. 68 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 69 There will be well-disciplined, beautiful maidens. 70 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 71 Pure ones confined to the pavilions. 72 which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 73 [companions] whom neither man nor invisible being will have touched ere then. 74 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 75 Reclining on green cushions and beautiful fine carpets. 76 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 77 Blessed be the name of your Lord, the Lord of Majesty and Glory. 78
