▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
But for such as fear the time when they will stand before (the Judgment Seat of) their Lord, there will be two Gardens- 46 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 47 Full of overhanging branches -- 48 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 49 In them (both) will be two springs flowing (free) 50 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 51 In which are fruits of all kinds, each of two varieties. 52 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 53 They will recline on Carpets, whose inner linings will be of rich brocade: the Fruit of the Gardens will be near (and easy of reach). 54 Which of your Lord's favours will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 55 In the midst of these shall be maidens with modest, restrained glances; maidens whom no man or jinn has ever touched before. 56 jinn and mankindîwhich of the favors of your Lord would you then deny 57 Like unto Rubies and coral. 58 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 59 The reward of goodness shall be nothing but goodness. 60 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 61 Besides those two there shall be two other gardens. 62 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 63 The greenest of green pastures. 64 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 65 In these there will also be two springs gushing forth. 66 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 67 In both gardens there will be fruits, palm-trees, and pomegranates 68 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 69 Therein will be maidens chaste and beautiful. 70 jinn and mankind - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny 71 Fair ones, confined in tents. 72 How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? -- 73 Neither human nor jinn will have touched them before. 74 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 75 Reclining on green cushions and fine carpets. 76 How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? 77 Blest be the name of thine Lord, Owner Of Majesty and Beneficence! 78
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
