▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
And for he who fears the standing (before) his Lord there are two Gardens. 46 Which of your Lord's favours will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 47 Having [spreading] branches. 48 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 49 In the two gardens there will be two flowing springs. 50 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 51 In both these is a pair of every fruit. 52 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 53 Reclining on beds, the inner coverings of which are of silk brocade; and the fruits of the two gardens shall be within reach. 54 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 55 In them are women limiting [their] glances, untouched before them by man or jinni - 56 Which of the favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? -- 57 They are like rubies and coral-stone. 58 Which of the favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? 59 Shall the recompense of goodness be other than goodness? 60 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 61 And besides these shall be two gardens -- 62 jinn and mankind - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny 63 Dark green [in color]. 64 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 65 In these there will also be two springs gushing forth. 66 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 67 In them (both) will be fruits, and date- palms and pomegranates. 68 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 69 There will be well-disciplined, beautiful maidens. 70 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 71 Fair ones, close-guarded in pavilions - 72 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 73 untouched by jinn or mankind before. 74 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 75 [In such a paradise will they dwell,] reclining upon meadows green and carpets rich in beauty. 76 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 77 Blessed be the name of your Lord, full of majesty and beneficience. 78

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
