▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
But for he who has feared the position of his Lord are two gardens - 46 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 47 Of spreading branches. 48 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 49 In the two Gardens flow two springs. 50 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 51 therein of every fruit two kinds -- 52 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 53 (They shall) recline on couches lined with brocade, and the fruits of the Gardens will be near at hand. 54 Which of your Lord's favours will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 55 Upon thrones are the women who do not gaze at men except their husbands, and before them, are untouched by any man or jinn. 56 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 57 As (lovely as) rubies and as (beautiful as) coral. 58 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 59 Should the reward of goodness be aught else but goodness? -- 60 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 61 And besides them, there are two more Gardens. 62 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 63 Two Gardens, dark green and fresh. 64 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 65 In which will be two fountains gushing forth. 66 How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? -- 67 In both of them are fruit and palm trees and pomegranates. 68 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 69 In these [gardens] will be [all] things most excellent and beautiful. 70 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 71 There shall be maidens sheltered in tents. 72 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 73 No man or jinn ever touched them before. 74 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 75 They will be reclining on plain green and beautifully printed cushions 76 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 77 Most Auspicious is the name of your Lord, the Most Majestic and the Most Honourable. 78
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
