▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
BUT FOR THOSE who of their Sustainer's Presence stand in fear, two gardens [of paradise are readied] 46 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 47 (Gardens) with many branches. 48 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 49 In each of the two Gardens are two flowing springs. 50 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 51 Therein are two kinds of every fruit. 52 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 53 [They are] reclining on beds whose linings are of silk brocade, and the fruit of the two gardens is hanging low. 54 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 55 In them are women limiting [their] glances, untouched before them by man or jinni - 56 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 57 lovely as rubies, beautiful as coral -- 58 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 59 Can any thing else be a response to a favor but a favor? 60 Which of the laudable attributes of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 61 And besides these shall be two gardens -- 62 jinn and mankind - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny 63 Two Gardens, dark green and fresh. 64 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 65 In them (both) will be two springs gushing forth water. 66 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 67 In them will be Fruits, and dates and pomegranates: 68 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 69 There will be well-disciplined, beautiful maidens. 70 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 71 [There the blessed will live with their] pure companions sheltered in pavilions. 72 which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 73 Man has not touched them before them nor jinni. 74 Which, then, of the benefits of Your Lord will ye twain belie? 75 They shall be reclining on green cushions and splendid carpets. 76 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 77 Blessed be the Name of thy Lord, majestic, splendid. 78
God the Almighty always says the truth.
