▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
But for such as fear the time when they will stand before (the Judgment Seat of) their Lord, there will be two Gardens- 46 (jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 47 These Gardens will abound in green, blooming branches. 48 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 49 therein two fountains of running water -- 50 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 51 In both of them, there will be two kinds of every fruit. 52 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 53 Reclining on carpets whereof the linings will be of brocade; and the fruit of the two Gardens shall be near at hand. 54 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 55 Therein are maidens who restrain their glances, whom neither human nor jinn have touched before. 56 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 57 [When you are promised splendours] as though [of] rubies and [of] pearls 58 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 59 Should the reward of goodness be aught else but goodness? -- 60 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 61 And besides these two, there are two other Gardens,- 62 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 63 Two Gardens, dark green and fresh. 64 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 65 Therein are two gushing fountains of water. 66 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 67 In both of them will be [all kinds of] fruit, and date-palms and pomegranates. 68 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 69 In them are good and beautiful women - 70 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 71 Houris cloistered in pavilions -- 72 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 73 Untouched by any man or jinn, before them. 74 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? - 75 Reclining on green cushions and beautiful carpets. 76 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 77 Blessed be the name of your Lord, the Lord of Glory and Honor! 78
