Al-Rahman 3 of 3
And for him who dreadeth the standing before his Lord will be two Gardens. 46 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 47 [There will be two gardens with] spreading branches. 48 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 49 In both of them are two springs, flowing. 50 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 51 Wherein is every kind of fruit in pairs. 52 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 53 They will recline on Carpets, whose inner linings will be of rich brocade: the Fruit of the Gardens will be near (and easy of reach). 54 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 55 In the midst of these shall be maidens with modest, restrained glances; maidens whom no man or jinn has ever touched before. 56 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? - 57 (In beauty) they are like rubies and coral. 58 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 59 Is the reward of goodness aught save goodness? 60 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 61 And besides these two there shall be two other Gardens. 62 Which of the favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? -- 63 two [gardens] of the deepest green. 64 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 65 In both of them live springs gush forth. 66 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 67 In both are fruits and palms and pomegranates. 68 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 69 Therein (gardens) will be fair (wives) good and beautiful; 70 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 71 Companions restrained (as to their glances), in (goodly) pavilions;- 72 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 73 Untouched by any man or jinn, before them. 74 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 75 Reclining on green cushions and rich beautiful mattresses. 76 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 77 Blessed be the Name of thy Lord, majestic, splendid. 78

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
