▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
And for him who dreadeth the standing before his Lord will be two Gardens. 46 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 47 With spreading branches. 48 Which of the favours of your Lord will you then deny? -- 49 Therein are two running fountains. 50 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 51 In [each of] these two will two kinds of every fruit be [found]. 52 Which of your Lord's favours will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 53 [In such a paradise the blest will dwell,] reclining upon carpets lined with rich brocade; and the fruit of both these gardens will be within easy reach. 54 Which of your Lord's favours will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 55 Therein are maidens of modest gaze, whom neither a man nor a jinn had ever touched before them. 56 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 57 (In beauty) like the jacynth and the coral-stone. 58 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 59 Can the reward of goodness be any other than goodness? 60 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 61 And besides those two will be yet two [other] gardens 62 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? - 63 two [gardens] of the deepest green. 64 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 65 In both of them are two springs, spouting. 66 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 67 In them are fruits, palm trees and pomegranates. 68 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 69 Therein (gardens) will be fair (wives) good and beautiful; 70 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 71 They are houris (maidens of Paradise), hidden from view, in pavilions. 72 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? - 73 Whom no man or Jinn before them has touched;- 74 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 75 Reclining on green Cushions and rich Carpets of beauty. 76 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 77 Blessed be the Name of thy Lord, majestic, splendid. 78
God the Almighty always says the truth.
