▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
But for him who feareth the standing before his Lord there are two gardens. 46 which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 47 Containing all kinds (of trees and delights);- 48 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 49 In them (each) will be two Springs flowing (free); 50 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 51 Therein are two kinds of every fruit. 52 Which of your Lord's favours will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 53 Reclining there on carpets lined with brocade, fruits of the garden hanging low within reach. 54 How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? 55 Therein are those of modest gaze, whom neither man nor jinni will have touched before them. 56 Which of your Lord's favours will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 57 [When you are promised splendours] as though [of] rubies and [of] pearls 58 which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 59 Is there any Reward for Good - other than Good? 60 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 61 And besides these two there shall be two other Gardens. 62 Which of the favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? -- 63 Dark green [in color]. 64 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 65 In these there will also be two springs gushing forth. 66 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 67 In both of them will be [all kinds of] fruit, and date-palms and pomegranates. 68 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 69 Wherein (are found) the good and beautiful - 70 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 71 with big, black and white beautiful eyes, dwelling in tents. 72 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 73 No man or jinn ever touched them before. 74 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 75 Reclining on green Cushions and rich Carpets of beauty. 76 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 77 Blest be the name of thine Lord, Owner Of Majesty and Beneficence! 78
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
