▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
There are two gardens for one who fears standing before his Lord. 46 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 47 Of spreading branches. 48 Which of the favours of your Lord will you then deny? -- 49 In them (each) will be two Springs flowing (free); 50 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 51 In them (both) will be every kind of fruit in pairs. 52 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 53 (The dwellers of Paradise) will recline on couches lined with silk brocade and it will be easy to reach the ripe fruits from the two gardens. 54 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 55 In the midst of these shall be maidens with modest, restrained glances; maidens whom no man or jinn has ever touched before. 56 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 57 As if they were rubies and coral. 58 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 59 Should the reward of goodness be aught else but goodness? -- 60 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 61 And besides those two will be yet two [other] gardens 62 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 63 green, green pastures -- 64 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 65 Wherein are two abundant springs. 66 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 67 In them are fruits (of all kinds), and dates and pomegranate. 68 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 69 In them shall be good and pleasing. 70 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 71 Fair ones reserved in pavilions - 72 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 73 Neither human nor jinn will have touched them before. 74 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 75 [They will live in such a paradise] reclining upon green cushions and the finest carpets. 76 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 77 Blessed is the name of your Lord, Owner of Majesty and Honor. 78
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
