Al-Rahman 3 of 3
But such as fears the Station of his Lord, for them shall be two gardens -- 46 (jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 47 Full of overhanging branches -- 48 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 49 In which, will be two fountains running. 50 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 51 In them there are pairs of each kind of fruit. 52 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 53 Reclining upon couches lined with silk brocade, the fruit of both the gardens near to hand. 54 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 55 In them will be (Maidens), chaste, restraining their glances, whom no man or Jinn before them has touched;- 56 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 57 [There will be] maidens as fair as corals and rubies. 58 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 59 Is there any Reward for Good - other than Good? 60 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 61 Besides those two there shall be two other gardens. 62 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 63 dark green in color. 64 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 65 In these there will also be two springs gushing forth. 66 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 67 In them are fruits, palm trees and pomegranates. 68 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 69 In these [gardens] will be [all] things most excellent and beautiful. 70 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? - 71 [There the blest will live with their] companions pure and modest, in pavilions [splendid] 72 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 73 untouched before them by any man or jinn -- 74 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 75 Reclining on green cushions and beautiful fine carpets. 76 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 77 Blessed be the Name of your Lord, Majestic, Splendid. 78

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
