Al-Rahman 3 of 3
But for such as fear the time when they will stand before (the Judgment Seat of) their Lord, there will be two Gardens- 46 which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 47 full of various trees. 48 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 49 Therein are two running fountains. 50 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 51 In both of them, there will be two kinds of every fruit. 52 Which of your Lord's favours will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 53 Reclining on carpets whereof the linings will be of brocade; and the fruit of the two Gardens shall be near at hand. 54 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 55 There will be bashful maidens untouched by mankind or jinn before. 56 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 57 As if they were rubies and coral. 58 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 59 Is the reward for good [anything] but good? 60 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 61 And besides these shall be two gardens -- 62 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 63 Dark-green in colour (from plentiful watering). 64 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 65 In them (each) will be two Springs pouring forth water in continuous abundance: 66 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 67 In both of them there will be fruit trees and date-palms and pomegranates. 68 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 69 Therein will be maidens chaste and beautiful. 70 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 71 There shall be maidens sheltered in tents. 72 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 73 Undeflowered by man or by jinn before them, -- 74 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 75 Reclining on green Cushions and rich Carpets of beauty. 76 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 77 Blessed be the name of your Lord, the Lord of Glory and Honor! 78
True are the words of God the Almighty.
