The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ When the inevitable event takes place, 1 there is no denying its coming 2 (Many) will it bring low; (many) will it exalt; 3 When the earth shall be shaken with a (severe) shaking, 4 And the mountains will be powdered to dust. 5 So that they become dust seattered. 6 On that day, you (mankind) will be divided into three groups: 7 The people of the right hand - those whose books of records will be placed in their right hands. How happy they will be! 8 And there shall be such as will have lost themselves in evil: oh, how [unhappy] will be they who have lost themselves in evil! 9 And the foremost in the race, the foremost in the race: 10 Those! they shall be the brought nigh, 11 In gardens of delight; 12 A [large] company of the former peoples 13 And a few from the latter. 14 On thrones decorated, 15 reclining on them, arrayed face to face; 16 Round about them shall go youths never altering in age, 17 carrying goblets and ewers and cups filled with the purest wine, 18 Whereby there shall be neither headiness nor will they be inebriated. 19 they will also go about them with the fruits of which they may choose, 20 and with the flesh of any fowl that they may desire to eat; 21 And wide eyed houris 22 Like pearls safely hidden. 23 A reward for what they used to do. 24 There hear they no vain speaking nor recrimination 25 Only a saying: "Peace, peace." 26 And the fellows on the right hand; how be happy shall the fellows on the right hand be! 27 (will be) among thornless Lote trees. 28 And plantains laden with fruit. 29 And extended shade, 30 and waters gushing, 31 And fruit in abundance. 32 undiminished and never denied 33 And on couches or thrones, raised high. 34 Verily We! We have created those maidens by a creation. 35 and made them virgins, 36 Loving, equals in age, 37 for those on the Right, 38

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
