The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ When the great event comes to pass, 1 There is no denying that it will befall - 2 Abasing (one party), exalting (the other), 3 When the earth is shaken with a shock 4 And the hills are ground to powder 5 they will become like dust scattered around. 6 And ye are classes three. 7 So those on the right – how (fortunate) are those on the right! 8 And (as to) the companions of the left hand; how wretched are the companions of the left hand! 9 As for the Foremost, they will be the foremost! 10 those are they brought near (to their Lord) 11 in the Gardens of Bliss. 12 Many of them will be from the ancient people 13 And a few from the later generations. 14 Seated on couches wrought in gold and encrusted with precious stones, 15 Reclining thereon, face to face. 16 There wait on them immortal youths 17 with goblets and ewers and a cup filled with a drink drawn from a running spring, 18 which will not cause them any intoxication or illness. 19 And fruit; that they may choose. 20 Bird meats that they relish, 21 They will have maidens with large, lovely black and white eyes, 22 Like pearls within their shells, 23 As recompense for all they had done. 24 Therein they hear no vain or sinful discourse. 25 but only the tiding of inner soundness and peace. 26 The companions of the right - what are the companions of the right? 27 They will live amid the thornless lot trees 28 and acacias flower-clad, 29 And a shade ever-spread. 30 And water gushing, 31 and fruit abounding, 32 Unending, unforbidden, 33 And exalted thrones. 34 We have indeed developed these women with an excellent development. 35 We have made them virgins, 36 Loving, equals in age, 37 For those on the right. 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
