The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the Event inevitable cometh to pass, 1 There is no belying its coming to pass-- 2 (a calamitous Event) that shall turn things upside down: 3 When the earth shall be shaken with a (severe) shaking, 4 and the mountains will crumble 5 And become dust dispersing. 6 You will become three categories: 7 Then (there will be) the Companions of the Right Hand;- What will be the Companions of the Right Hand? 8 And the companions of the left - what are the companions of the left? 9 And the foremost are the foremost, 10 These will be those nearest to Allah. 11 In gardens of tranquility; 12 A multitude of those of old 13 but [only] a few of later times. 14 on lavish couches 15 Reclining face to face. 16 they will be waited on by ageless youths 17 With goblets and ewers and a cup of pure drink; 18 Their heads shall not ache with it, nor shall they lose their senses. 19 And fruit that they prefer 20 and such flesh of fowl as they desire, 21 And (there will be) Houris (fair females) with wide, lovely eyes (as wives for the pious), 22 like unto pearls [still] hidden in their shells. 23 a recompense for all that they did. 24 They will not hear therein any vain or sinful talk, 25 Nought but the saying: peace! peace! 26 As for those of the right hand -- how (happy) those of the right hand -- 27 [They, too, will find themselves] amidst fruit laden lote-trees, 28 and flower-clad acacias, 29 and amid the extended shade 30 Gushing water, 31 And abundant fruit, 32 Whose season is not limited, and their supply will not be cut off, 33 on raised couches. 34 We have created (their Companions) of special creation. 35 having resurrected them as virgins, 36 Loving companions matched in age, 37 For those on the right hand; 38

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
