The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ When the Occurrence occurs, 1 no soul will deny its coming. 2 It will bring down [some] and raise up [others]. 3 When the earth is shaken with a shock 4 And the mountains are crumbled, crumbled. 5 Turned to dust, floating in the air, 6 And you will become divided into three categories. 7 The people of the right hand - those whose books of records will be placed in their right hands. How happy they will be! 8 And those on the Left Hand (i.e. those who will be given their Record in their left hands), Who will be those on the Left Hand? (As a disgrace for them, because they will enter Hell). 9 But the foremost shall be [they who in life were] the foremost [in faith and good works]: 10 These will be those nearest to Allah. 11 They will dwell in the Gardens of Bliss: 12 A multitude of those (foremost) will be from the first generations (who embraced Islam). 13 but [only] a few of later times. 14 On thrones woven [with ornament], 15 Reclining on them, facing one another. 16 Round about them will (serve) youths of perpetual (freshness), 17 With goblets, (shining) beakers, and cups (filled) out of clear-flowing fountains: 18 Wherefrom they get no aching of the head nor any madness, 19 Also, they will be served with the fruits of their choice 20 and with the flesh of any fowl that they may desire. 21 And wide eyed houris 22 beautiful as pearls hidden in their shells. 23 [And this will be] a reward for what they did [in life]. 24 They will not hear any useless speech in it, or any sin. 25 But only the saying of: Salam!, Salam! (greetings with peace)! 26 Those on the Right, how fortunate are those on the Right! 27 Midst lote-trees thornless. 28 And [banana] trees layered [with fruit] 29 and extended shade, 30 and outpoured waters, 31 and abundant fruits, 32 unfailing, unforbidden, 33 and raised couches 34 We have formed them in a distinctive fashion, 35 and shall have made them virgins, 36 loving and of equal age. 37 For the companions of the right [who are] 38

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
