The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ When the inevitable event comes, 1 Then will no (soul) entertain falsehood concerning its coming. 2 Abasing (one party), exalting (the other), 3 When the earth is shaken with convulsion 4 And the mountains shall be crumbled to atoms, 5 and become a dust, scattered, 6 [on that Day,] then, shall you be [divided into] three kinds. 7 Then (as to) the companions of the right hand; how happy are the companions of the right hand! 8 And the companions of the left - what are the companions of the left? 9 And the foremost in the race, the foremost in the race: 10 those are they brought nigh the Throne, 11 in the beautiful Paradise. 12 A multitude of those of old 13 And a few of later ages, 14 On couches in wrought with gold. 15 reclining upon them, facing one another [in love]. 16 Surrounded by immortal boys. 17 with goblets, and ewers, and a cup from a spring 18 No after-ache will they receive therefrom, nor will they suffer intoxication: 19 And fruit; that they may choose. 20 and with the flesh of any fowl that they may desire to eat; 21 And pure, beautiful ones, 22 like the pearls in their shells: 23 shall be their recompense for their deeds. 24 Therein they shall hear no idle talk, no cause of sin, 25 only the words of peace and tranquillity. 26 The Companions of the Right (O Companions of the Right!) 27 [They, too, will find themselves] amidst fruit laden lote-trees, 28 And plantains laden with fruit. 29 In shade long-extended, 30 And water flowing constantly, 31 and abundant fruits, 32 Whose season is not limited, and their supply will not be cut off, 33 And on couches or thrones, raised high. 34 Indeed We formed them (the houris and all believing women), 35 And made them virgins. 36 Beloved (by nature), equal in age,- 37 For the fellows on the right hand. 38

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
