The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ WHEN WHAT IS to happen comes to pass -- 1 (and none denies its descending) 2 some shall be abased and others exalted. 3 When the earth is shaken up convulsively, 4 and the mountains crumbled, 5 and become like scattered dust particles, 6 And you shall be three sorts. 7 So those on the right – how (fortunate) are those on the right! 8 Companions of the Left (O Companions of the Left!) 9 But the foremost shall be [they who in life were] the foremost [in faith and good works]: 10 Those are the ones brought near [to Allah] 11 In the Gardens of Pleasure, 12 A multitude of those of old 13 but only a few from the later generations. 14 On lined couches, 15 Reclining face to face. 16 Immortal youths will wait upon them 17 With cups, and jugs, and a glass from the flowing wine, 18 a drink by which their minds will not be clouded nor will it cause drunkenness; 19 and such fruits as they shall choose, 20 and with the flesh of any fowl that they may desire. 21 And companions with big beautiful eyes 22 Like unto Pearls well-guarded. 23 A reward for what they used to do. 24 They will not hear any useless speech in it, or any sin. 25 Only the saying, "Peace! Peace". 26 As for the people of the right hand, how happy they will be! 27 [They will be] among lote trees with thorns removed 28 And plantains laden with fruit. 29 In shade long-extended, 30 and outpoured waters, 31 And fruits numberless, 32 unfailing, unforbidden, 33 on raised couches. 34 and their spouses We shall have brought them into being afresh, 35 So made them as maidens. 36 Beloved (by nature), equal in age,- 37 For the Companions of the Right Hand. 38

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
