The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ When the inevitable event takes place, 1 there is no denying its coming 2 Abasing (one party), exalting (the other), 3 When the earth is shaken violently, 4 And the mountains will be crushed, blown to bits. 5 And become dust dispersing. 6 And you will become divided into three categories. 7 Companions of the Right (O Companions of the Right!) 8 And those on the left how (wretched) are those on the left! 9 And those who surpassed have indeed excelled. 10 those are they brought nigh the Throne, 11 In gardens of bliss [will they dwell] 12 A number of people from those of old, 13 And a few from the latter. 14 upon close-wrought couches 15 Reclining on them, facing each other. 16 Immortal youths will wait upon them 17 With bowls and ewers and a cup from a pure spring 18 Their heads shall not ache with it, nor shall they lose their senses. 19 And fruit of what they select 20 and with the flesh of any fowl that they may desire. 21 And (there will be) Companions with beautiful, big, and lustrous eyes,- 22 The likenesses of pearls well-protected, 23 All this shall be theirs as a reward for their deeds. 24 Not frivolity will they hear therein, nor any taint of ill,- 25 All talk will be sound and upright. 26 Those on the Right, how fortunate are those on the Right! 27 They will live amid the thornless lot trees 28 Bananatrees, piled 29 In shade long-extended, 30 And water everflowing. 31 And fruit in plenty 32 Unending, unforbidden, 33 on raised couches. 34 Surely We have made them to grow into a (new) growth, 35 having resurrected them as virgins, 36 intensely loving and of matching age. 37 For those on the right. 38

Notes and Instructions
ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
