The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ When the Event (the resurrection) comes 1 And there can be no denying of its befalling. 2 The event will be abasing some, and exalting some. 3 When the earth shall be shaken with a (severe) shaking, 4 And the hills are ground to powder 5 So that they become a scattered dust, 6 And you will become divided into three categories. 7 Companions of the Right (O Companions of the Right!) 8 And (as to) the companions of the left hand; how wretched are the companions of the left hand! 9 And those who surpassed have indeed excelled. 10 They shall be the nearest to God. 11 In the Gardens of Pleasure, 12 A throng of the ancients, 13 And a few of later ages, 14 They (will be seated) on gold-encrusted couches, 15 Reclining therein face to face. 16 Youths of never-ending bloom will pass round to them 17 With cups, and jugs, and a glass from the flowing wine, 18 They shall not be affected with headache thereby, nor shall they get exhausted, 19 And fruit that they prefer 20 And flesh of fowls that they desire. 21 They will have maidens with large, lovely black and white eyes, 22 Like unto Pearls well-guarded. 23 shall be their recompense for their deeds. 24 They will not hear any unnecessary or sinful talk 25 only the words of peace and tranquillity. 26 The Companions of the Right 27 (They will be) among Lote-trees without thorns, 28 and banana trees, 29 and amid the extended shade 30 Gushing water, 31 And plenty of fruits. 32 Neither ending nor forbidden. 33 They shall be on upraised couches, 34 and their spouses We shall have brought them into being afresh, 35 having resurrected them as virgins, 36 Loving (their husbands only), equal in age. 37 For those of the right hand. 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
