The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ When the great event comes to pass, 1 And there can be no denying of its befalling. 2 (it will) abase (some) and exalt (others). 3 When the earth is shaken with a shaking [severe,] 4 The mountains bruised and crushed, 5 So that they shall be as scattered dust. 6 You shall then become three groups. 7 Then the companions of the right - what are the companions of the right? 8 And the People on the Left: and how miserable will be the People on the Left! 9 As for the Foremost, they will be the foremost! 10 Those are the ones brought near [to Allah] 11 In Gardens of Bliss: 12 A multitude from the ancients. 13 And a few from the latter. 14 upon close-wrought couches 15 facing one another. 16 immortal youths shall go about them 17 Carrying bowls and pitchers and cups filled with wine flowing before them. 18 They shall not be affected with headache thereby, nor shall they get exhausted, 19 with fruits of their own choice 20 and the flesh of birds, as they desire. 21 And gorgeous eyed fair maidens. 22 like the pearls in their shells: 23 A reward for what they used to do. 24 Therein they shall hear no idle talk, no cause of sin, 25 All talk will be sound and upright. 26 And the companions of the right hand; how happy are the companions of the right hand! 27 [They will be] among lote trees with thorns removed 28 Among Talh (banana-trees) with fruits piled one above another, 29 In shade long-extended, 30 and waters gushing, 31 and abundant fruit, 32 never-ending and unforbidden. 33 and upraised couches. 34 and their spouses We shall have brought them into being afresh, 35 and shall have made them virgins, 36 Loving, of equal age. 37 For those on the right. 38

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
