The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ WHEN WHAT IS to happen comes to pass -- 1 Then will no (soul) entertain falsehood concerning its coming. 2 The event will be abasing some, and exalting some. 3 When the earth is shaken violently, 4 and the mountains crumbled, 5 and will scatter abroad into fine dust. 6 And ye are classes three. 7 The People on the Right: and how fortunate will be the People on the Right! 8 Companions of the Left, what are the Companions of the Left? 9 And the foremost are the foremost, 10 These will be those nearest to Allah. 11 In the Gardens of Pleasure, 12 A numerous company from among the first, 13 And a few from the latter. 14 Seated on couches wrought in gold and encrusted with precious stones, 15 facing one another. 16 immortal youths going round about them 17 with goblets, and ewers, and a cup from a spring 18 Wherefrom they get no aching of the head nor any madness, 19 along with fruits of their choice; 20 Bird meats that they relish, 21 They will have maidens with large, lovely black and white eyes, 22 The likenesses of pearls well-protected, 23 The reward for what they did. 24 Therein they shall hear no idle talk, no cause of sin, 25 but only the saying: 'Peace, Peace' 26 NOW AS FOR those who have attained to righteousness - what of those who have attained to righteousness? 27 Among thorn-less lote-trees. 28 and serried acacias, 29 and spreading shade 30 And water flowing constantly, 31 and abundant fruit, 32 undiminished and never denied 33 And exalted thrones. 34 Verily, We have created them (maidens) of special creation. 35 And made them virgins, 36 loving and of equal age. 37 For those on the right hand; 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
