The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ When the Event will come to pass 1 Then none will be able to deny its occurrence. 2 some shall be abased and others exalted. 3 when the earth shall be rocked 4 and the mountains crumbled 5 So that they will become floating dust particles. 6 And you become [of] three kinds: 7 Thus, there shall be such as will have attained to what is right: oh, how [happy] will be they who have attained to what is right! 8 Companions of the Left (O Companions of the Left!) 9 And the foremost are the foremost, 10 Who will be honoured 11 They are in Gardens of peace. 12 a good many of those of olden times, 13 And a few of later ages, 14 On couches wrought of gold, 15 Reclining on them, facing each other. 16 Immortal youths will wait upon them 17 With goblets, (shining) beakers, and cups (filled) out of clear-flowing fountains: 18 Wherefrom they get no aching of the head nor any madness, 19 Also, they will be served with the fruits of their choice 20 and with the flesh of any fowl that they may desire to eat; 21 and there shall be wide-eyed maidens, 22 The like of the hidden pearls: 23 Reward for what they used to do. 24 There they shall hear no idle talk nor any sinful speech. 25 All talk will be sound and upright. 26 The Companions of the Right 27 Amid thornless lote-trees, 28 and banana trees, 29 and spreading shade 30 And water poured out 31 And fruit abundant. 32 unfailing and not forbidden. 33 And [with them will be their] spouses, raised high: 34 Lo! We have created them a (new) creation 35 We have made them virgins, 36 The beloved of their husbands, of one age. 37 for those on the Right, 38

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
