The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ When the Occurrence occurs, 1 Which is bound to happen undoubtedly -- 2 some shall be abased and others exalted. 3 When the earth is shaken with a shaking [severe,] 4 And the hills are ground to powder 5 So that they will become floating dust particles. 6 And you will become divided into three categories. 7 Companions of the Right (O Companions of the Right!) 8 And the People on the Left: and how miserable will be the People on the Left! 9 As for the Foremost, they will be the foremost! 10 Those are the ones brought near [to Allah] 11 in the beautiful Paradise. 12 A multitude from the ancients. 13 And a few from the later generations. 14 (They will be) on Thrones encrusted (with gold and precious stones), 15 Reclining therein face to face. 16 Immortal youths will wait upon them 17 with goblets, and ewers, and cups filled with water from unsullied springs 18 by which their minds will not be clouded and which will not make them drunk; 19 And with fruit from that which they choose. 20 and the meat of any bird that they may desire; 21 They will have maidens with large, lovely black and white eyes, 22 The likes unto pearls hidden. 23 shall be their recompense for their deeds. 24 They will hear no nonsense there or talk of sin, 25 but only the tiding of inner soundness and peace. 26 NOW AS FOR those who have attained to righteousness - what of those who have attained to righteousness? 27 Amid thornless lote-trees, 28 Among Talh trees with flowers (or fruits) piled one above another,- 29 And shade extended 30 and gushing water, 31 and fruits in abundance, 32 never-failing and never out of reach. 33 And exalted thrones. 34 We have created maidens perfectly 35 And have made them virgins. 36 Lovers, friends, 37 All this will be for the People on the Right; 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
