The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the inevitable event comes, 1 There is, at its occurrence, no denial. 2 Abasing (one party), exalting (the other), 3 When the earth will be shaken with a terrible shake. 4 and the mountains are shattered into [countless] shards, 5 becoming scattered dust, 6 you shall be divided into three parties, 7 Those of the right hand -- how (happy) will be those of the right hand! 8 And the companions of the left - what are the companions of the left? 9 And the foremost are the foremost, 10 These will be those nearest to Allah. 11 In the Gardens of Pleasure, 12 A multitude of those of old 13 And a few from the later generations. 14 (They will be) on Thrones encrusted (with gold and precious stones), 15 Reclining thereon facing each other. 16 Youths of never-ending bloom will pass round to them 17 with goblets, and ewers, and a cup from a spring 18 No after-ache will they receive therefrom, nor will they suffer intoxication: 19 with fruits of their own choice 20 And meat of birds that they may wish. 21 And (there will be) Companions with beautiful, big, and lustrous eyes,- 22 Like pearls within their shells, 23 As reward for what they used to do. 24 There they shall hear no idle talk nor any sinful speech. 25 Other than "Peace, peace" the salutation. 26 The Companions of the Right 27 Among thornless lote-trees 28 and serried acacias, 29 and extended shade, 30 And water flowing constantly, 31 and fruit abounding, 32 Whose season is not limited, nor (supply) forbidden, 33 And raised couches. 34 Surely We have made them to grow into a (new) growth, 35 So made them as maidens. 36 The beloved of their husbands, of one age. 37 For the sake of the companions of the right hand. 38

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
