The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ WHEN THAT which must come to pass [at last] comes to pass, 1 no soul will deny its coming. 2 It will bring down [some] and raise up [others]. 3 When the earth shall be shaken to its depths, 4 And the mountains are crumbled, crumbled. 5 So that they will become floating dust particles. 6 [on that Day] you shall be divided into three groups. 7 Then (as to) the companions of the right hand; how happy are the companions of the right hand! 8 And those on the left hand; how miserable shall those on the left hand be! 9 The third to the fore shall be the foremost. 10 These will be those Nearest to Allah: 11 In gardens of tranquility; 12 A number of the earlier peoples, 13 And a few of those of later time. 14 On lined couches, 15 Reclining face to face. 16 There shall go round unto them youths ever-young. 17 With bowls and ewers and a cup from a pure spring 18 neither causing headaches, nor intoxication; 19 And fruit; that they may choose. 20 and any flesh of fowl that they desire. 21 and fair maidens with large, lustrous eyes 22 like pearls preserved in their shells, 23 as reward for their deeds. 24 They shall not hear therein vain or sinful discourse, 25 but only the saying: 'Peace, Peace' 26 The companions of the right - what are the companions of the right? 27 (They will be) among Lote-trees without thorns, 28 And plantains laden with fruit. 29 In shade long-extended, 30 And in perpetually flowing water. 31 And fruit, abundant [and varied], 32 Neither out of reach nor yet forbidden, 33 They shall be on upraised couches, 34 and the noble maidens that We have created 35 having resurrected them as virgins, 36 Beloved (by nature), equal in age,- 37 for those on the Right, 38

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
