The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ When the Event will come to pass 1 there is no denying its coming 2 (Many) will it bring low; (many) will it exalt; 3 When the earth will tremble, shivering. 4 And the mountains are broken down, crumbling 5 so that they become as scattered dust 6 [on that Day,] then, shall you be [divided into] three kinds. 7 Those on the Right -- how blessed are those on the Right! 8 And (then) those on the left hand; what of those on the left hand? 9 And the preceders are the preceders. 10 It is they who are the close ones. 11 in the Gardens of Delight 12 A throng of the ancients, 13 but [only] a few of later times. 14 on lavish couches 15 Reclining on them, facing one another. 16 Round about them shall go youths never altering in age, 17 With cups, and jugs, and a glass from the flowing wine, 18 Wherefrom they get no aching of the head nor any madness, 19 they will also go about them with the fruits of which they may choose, 20 And the flesh of fowls, any that they may desire. 21 And wide eyed houris 22 Like pearls within their shells, 23 a recompense for that they laboured. 24 Therein they hear no vain or sinful discourse. 25 All talk will be sound and upright. 26 The Companions of the Right (O Companions of the Right!) 27 [They, too, will find themselves] amidst fruit laden lote-trees, 28 And acacia covered with heaps of bloom, 29 In shade long-extended, 30 and gushing water, 31 And fruit in plenty, 32 never-ending and unrestricted, 33 And exalted thrones. 34 We have indeed developed these women with an excellent development. 35 So made them as maidens. 36 Devoted [to their husbands] and of equal age, 37 For the fellows on the right hand. 38

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
