The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ When the Event inevitable cometh to pass, 1 Then none will be able to deny its occurrence. 2 some shall be abased and others exalted. 3 when the earth will suddenly shake with a terrible shaking, 4 And the mountains are broken down, crumbling 5 and become a dust, scattered, 6 [on that Day] you shall be divided into three groups. 7 Then the companions of the right - what are the companions of the right? 8 Those on the Left -- how unlucky are those on the Left! 9 The third to the fore shall be the foremost. 10 those are they brought near (to their Lord) 11 In Gardens of Delight. 12 A multitude of those (foremost) will be from the first generations (who embraced Islam). 13 And a few from the latter. 14 On thrones decorated, 15 facing one another. 16 immortal youths shall go about them 17 Cups and decanters, beakers full of sparkling wine, 18 They shall not be affected with headache thereby, nor shall they get exhausted, 19 And fruit; that they may choose. 20 and such flesh of fowl as they desire, 21 And (there are) fair ones with wide, lovely eyes, 22 Like pearls within their shells, 23 a recompense for that they laboured. 24 They will not hear any unnecessary or sinful talk 25 only the words of peace and tranquillity. 26 And the companions of the right hand; how happy are the companions of the right hand! 27 They shall recline on high amidst lote trees without thorns 28 and serried acacias, 29 And extended shade, 30 and flowing water, 31 And fruit abundant. 32 Whose season is not limited, and their supply will not be cut off, 33 And exalted thrones. 34 We have formed them in a distinctive fashion, 35 And have made them virgins. 36 full of love, well-matched 37 For those on the right. 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
