The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ When the event befalleth - 1 Then none will be able to deny its occurrence. 2 abasing, exalting, 3 When the earth shall be shaken with a (severe) shaking, 4 And the mountains will be crushed, blown to bits. 5 And become dust dispersing. 6 you shall be divided into three parties, 7 Those on the Right -- how blessed are those on the Right! 8 Then those of the left hand -- how (unhappy) will be those of the left hand! 9 And those who surpassed have indeed excelled. 10 They shall be near-stationed (to their Lord), 11 in the Gardens of Bliss. 12 A large group from the earlier generations. 13 and a few from later times. 14 On thrones woven [with ornament], 15 Reclining on them, facing each other. 16 Round about them shall go youths never altering in age, 17 Carrying bowls and pitchers and cups filled with wine flowing before them. 18 No headache will they have therefrom, nor will they be intoxicated - 19 Also, they will be served with the fruits of their choice 20 And the flesh of fowl such as they desire. 21 And pure, beautiful ones, 22 like hidden pearls, 23 As reward for what they used to do. 24 Not frivolity will they hear therein, nor any taint of ill,- 25 only the saying 'Peace, Peace!' 26 And the companions of the right hand; how happy are the companions of the right hand! 27 [They, too, will find themselves] amidst fruit laden lote-trees, 28 And clustered plantains, 29 And shade extended 30 Gushing water, 31 And fruit in plenty 32 Whose season is not limited, nor (supply) forbidden, 33 And raised couches. 34 and their spouses We shall have brought them into being afresh, 35 and shall have made them virgins, 36 chastely amorous, 37 For the fellows on the right hand. 38

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
